In short, the campaign demonstrated that imaginative, future‑oriented storytelling can effectively transform climate communication—moving people from disengagement and despair toward hope, policy support, and active climate advocacy.

The Future Thanks You inspired over 30,000 global participants to envision a renewable-powered 2045. It significantly increased constructive hope—especially among initially hopeless individuals—and boosted support for key climate policies like tripling renewable energy by 2030. The campaign also strengthened belief in collective action and drove engagement, with 70% of participants sending letters to UN leaders. Overall, it proved that positive, future-focused storytelling can effectively shift attitudes and spur climate action.

This campaign boosted behavioral and policy support: 17% more respondents expressed support for tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030, and 31% reported increased belief in collective efficacy—the idea that people like them can influence global warming response.

This campaign motivated direct advocacy: 70% of participants sent letters to UN decision‑makers in support of accelerating the energy transition, over half including their name.
